Poinsettia Merry Christmas !

Hi friends! It's been awhile since I posted, as I lost my mojo and it took weeks for me to get back in the swing of things , but, I'm back! I've been making Christmas cards using the Spellbinders Layered Poinsettia die, and I can't stop!! I just LOVE how this die looks when made up! Here is one of my cards.. I used and old Kaisercraft paper, from the Holy Night collection , a Kaisercraft stitched rectangle die, and the sentiment is from and old stamp set by Layers Of Color. I hope you are well and having fun in your craft rooms! It has been in the high 30s ( Celsius) here in the last couple of days, and will be for the next week ... Hello summer..

Happy Birthday Carly!

Hi friends! My dear daughter Carly turned 31 on the 16th. Where did that go??? I made her card using the Echo Park "Party Time" collection of papers and stickers. I used the Kaisercraft stitched rectangle dies to make the frame out of SU glitter card, then put the cup cake sticker with sprinkles behind the frame. The balloon and sentiment are stickers too.  I see her tomorrow as she has the week off so I'm taking her to lunch so I hope she likes it!!  I am having a real slump with cardmaking. I have only made a few cards recently and only because I had to. I need help lol. Do you have any suggestions??!? Anything will be a help. Thanks so much for popping by, and many blessings xx 

Happy Fathers Day Card. ( with new fold!)

Hi friends! Friday night here and just sitting watching telly with the other half. Well he watches telly and I go on my iPad/phone lol ! We all have our pleasures!! Now, onto my card! I found a new fold while watching a fave you tube channel and had to try it!! I see my friend ( and yours) Cheryl posted her card and the video, so you know how it works! The only thing is it's hard to display  but hubby found a way! I used a couple of sheets of Pion papers and the dad sentiment is from Sweet 'n Sassy, and the happy farther a day is from SU. My Wedding Card!

Hi friends! How are you? Spring has arrived here in Qld Australia, and it's starting to warm up. Gee the year is going by isn't it?!  Here is one last wedding card. This is the one I gave. I used a sentiment from an old SU set, the dies are from Spellbinders and the heart embossing folder is from Kaisercraft. I am glad you dropped by thanks for looking and many blessings xx

Hi friends! Well it's Friday and only one more week of winter. I'm sad!  You can feel the change in the air, ah well, Spring is nice. I hope your not sick of my wedding cards! Hi friends! Well today was the wedding day! It was a beautiful day and it all went well, such a great couple even though there is a 14 year age difference. They are very much in love!  

My card today had dies from the Sue Wilson Copenhagen set and the sentiment is from Sweet n' Sassy also Swiss dots EF  thanks for dropping in and many blessings xx

Hi friends! Hope you are well. Here is another wedding card for Danielle and Dafydd. The embossing folder is from Kaisercraft and I can't remember where the bride and groom die was from. Wedding Card # 1

Hi friends! How are you? Well winter is winding  down here in Australia, it will be sad to say goodbye, not looking forward to the heat. Ok, onto my card! We are having a wedding at our church, 2 members, Dafydd and Danielle are tying the knot on the 20th and as many church members buy my cards, I have a few wedding cards to show you! The wedding dress is ivory the bridesmaids are in navy and the flowers are in pinks! I bought a die and embossing folder from Kaisercraft which I love this card used both. I  stacked 3 together to give it definition because the card was one colour. I love how it turned out! Thanks for looking and many blessings xx

Happy Birthday Holly!

Hi friends! It's a beautiful winters Sunday here in Brisbane, crisp cool mornings and  lovely warm, if your out in the sun, days. My dd2 Holly, turned 28 this month. Where has all those years gone!  Times is passing faster each year. Here is her card I made, she loves elephants so the Wplus9 set was an easy choice! How cute are those elephants! I decided to make a shaker card, so much fun! The happy birthday die words, are from Kaisercraft, they make fabulous dies!! I'm going tomorrow to get the Christmas words , which get released tomorrow, along with the new Christmas collection called Christmas Wishes I think. I love Kaisercraft products, and it's handy to have an outlet 2 mins from me! Anyhoo, have a fabulous week , August already!! Thanks for popping by, many blessings xx

Karen's Card!

Hi friends! How are you? Hope you are well. I finally gave in to the many germs around, me and had a virus for a week, but all good now. We have been having some very warm days, one day last week it was 29c !! Come on! It's winter!! At least it's dropped down but not as cool as it had been. Ah well, no point complainin' . Now, onto my card! This card was for my friend Karen, who I met on our Down Under Stamping chat, but have since met twice at the Brisbane Papercraft Convention. I used distress inks on the background, then splattered with water drops. Then I stamped and embossed the flowers and leaves from the Alternew Beautiful Day set. I loved how it turned out! I was inspired from a you tube I saw, I think it was Yana, I love her tutorials!! Thanks for popping by, and many blessing xx 

Happy 80th Aunty Judy !

Hi friends! I made this card for my sister Gina, to give our Aunty Judy who turns 80 on the 19th. She isn't really our aunt just our mums friend we grew up with , and she is Ginas godmother. She has just started to scrapbook, and told me she loves shabby chic and vintage, so I think she will like the card I made. I used Lemoncrafts House Of Roses paper, which I destressed. I added a frame die cut from one of my Kaisercraft collectables packs along with lace and flowers from my stash. I punched some butterflies out of the paper with a MS punch, and added some pearls then some ribbon and a bow. I also added some of the paper to the inside as well...I really like it ! Happy 90th Mrs Nichols!

Hi friends! Been a bit quiet as my mojo has gone on holidays...so I have only been doing orders .. Hope it comes home soon. This card is for our founding Pastors wife, who turns 90 on the 13th. We love them both and don't see them as often as they only come on Sunday morning or not at all depending on their health.  The inspiration for the card came from my friend "Pinterest" and I used Lemoncraft papers, from Everyday Spring. Flowers were from my stash and the die cut frame was from Spellbinders Antique Frame And Accents. Thanks for popping by,

Elaine's Birthday Card.

Hi friends! How are you? It's a lovely cool day here after an abundance of rain yesterday and last night. Windy though. Now to my card. Here is my card for our church to sign for our former Pastors wife, Elaine. I make one every year since they left 12 years ago. They were here for 19 years , I was there for 17 of those years, both helped me so much on my Christian walk.  I miss them but we move on. I used Lemoncrafts  Everyday  Spring for the papers as well as the stamped flowers and leaves, which I embossed with white embossing powder. Then fussy cut. The stamps are SU Fabulous Florets, my favourite set I think! I also used one of the layers from my new Sue Wilson die, Copenhagen, it's so pretty.  The sentiment is from IBS. Mother's Day Card #3

Hi friends! Well winter has finally arrived and it's lovely and cool and nice to rug up! Now, our winters are mild compared to some, but after our hot, muggy summer. AND Autumn, it's a welcome change! Ok, here is another Mother's Day card, using a very old 3D sheet, pretty papers, border punch and tag die. The sentiment is from Sweet n Sassy,  Very cute! New Fold!

Springtime Wishes Card.

Hi friends! I can't believe it's April already.. this year is flying by, even for me, and I am home every day, rarely go out, oh, I did get to go to the movies yesterday to see My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2, thanks to my darling daughter Carly. It was fabulous, not as funny as the first but still great. Ok, so onto my card for today! This is a very simple card, but I do love CAS, using my new CTMH Springtime Wishes stamps and dies. Sam's birthday " card in a box" !

Hi friends! Sorry it's been so long since I posted. I have been making cards just haven't gotten around to putting them on the blog.  Hope you are all well. This card in a box, was for my DIL Sam, and I think she was quite happy with it! I used the die from The Stamps Of Life , which I got for 40% off when it first came out, what a bargain!! Now our dollar is so low it's hard buying anything from the US so glad I grabbed it. Happy Birthday to my hubby!

JHi friends! I hope you are all well as I am. Today is my hubby Billy's birthday, and he is into rock music, so made him this card! I got inspired from a card on that wonderful place "Pinterest" and tweaked it a bit. I like how it turned out! I used stamps from IBS ( guitar), SU and Stampendous grunge stamps for the background as well as a TH stencil. The Happy is a die from MFT and birthday wishes from IBS. Owl Birthday Card!

Hi friends! How are you all? It's been very hot here but no point complaining. We have rain coming over the next week so that is good. My card today is a very cute very easy birthday card! Hi friends! The temps have dropped thank goodness after some very hot days. Roll on winter! Our winter is mild average 6 to 20c lovely time of year in Qld. Here is another birthday card and it's for my daughter Holly's b friend Al. He loves music and they go to lots of concerts  not my kind of music mind you lol. I decided to finally try the "Bendy" card fold! It was so easy, and there are different sizes you can do as well. I used some papers one being a glossy specialty sheet of Kaisercrafts On Stage collection, and a guitar stamp from IBS  I think it turned out great and he loved it!
